My Son and my explorations.

So it has been a very long time since my last post. It is now my goal to make one post per week, with a new photograph to add and chat about. First I would like to make an overdue update.

We are fast approaching the second birthday celebration of my son, which has been an amazing and wonderful addition to my life. With that addition, has come a greater appreciation for the work I do, as it relates with everything I see. It is this new life that has helped me find what it is that is so special in the weddings, and other events I photograph, as a celebration of those we love. So, for this first post I would like to add two photos that are now a few months old.

A photograph of my son as he runs across a tennis court after a rain storm. He leaves wet footprints after running through puddles. It is amazing the excitement and exploration he seeks at his young age.

As I photograph and watch as my son is very rapidly growing, it amazes me as to the experiences that he finds exciting. Things that I too am growing to love along side him, like the joy of a fresh set of puddles to go splash around in, to a pile of ash to play with. It is amazing how little and mundane the objects are, to how his imagination and playfulness allows him to soar!

I look forward to the next few months as the weather grows milder and we are able to run around all day, so I can see just how much he is willing to play and explore with me. Everything has become more fun with my little guy.

Since he was born, my wife and I have also moved from our previous residence in Starksboro, and headed the Brandon, VT area, where we now work and play. The area is certainly a great place to live, and with the view we have in our back yard, it is an especially fun place to raise a child.

I hope you all get to enjoy my upcoming post and my antics as I continue to write about my explorations and have fun!

Take Care!
